Yet another oddity (this time a bumper sticker) found while out:

Weekend Recap, the “life is full” edition

Highlights from this weekend included:

• Having my hair played with for the first time in MONTHS on my way from Charlotte to Philly Friday night.
• Sleeping and waking up in my own bed Friday, Saturday AND Sunday nights.
• Finding this book at Borders on Saturday.
• Playing Mad Libs with JJT in the car Sunday afternoon.
• Discovering Spongebob Ants in the Pants at Toys R Us.
• Homemade lasagna and carrot cake at Heather’s on Sunday.
• Baby Bug sightings on Saturday and Sunday.

Missing Spice Girl Found!

Yesterday, while running errands, I stumbled across the missing Spice Girl:

There aren’t any words, people. Wow. WOW. I actually went inside, and not through the drive through (I know, I know, but I had questions!) and it turns out that it’s a) the first drive thru Panera in Kentucky and b) the ninth in the US.

I cannot tell you how I laughed….

Handsome Man

Yesterday, before departing for my not-so-whirlwind tour of RDU, I checked in on my friend Melissa’s cats. She rescued a cat that had kittens, and one of her kittens caught my eye because he’s such a handsome, handsome man. I introduce to you Mr. Tumnus:

Look at those spots! What a handsome little dude! His brother, Desperaux, is next to him with his face firmly planted in the food bowl in the second picture.

Funny is…

Funny is hearing AH ask for “Guest Worker” Mexican Eggs at brunch yesterday.  I heart her.

Funny is seeing the bartender almost drop the beer he was drawing when he overheard me tell the girls the oddest compliment I’d ever received.

Funny is seeing my 14 month old niece hang a spoon on her nose this afternoon, when asked “What do you do with a spoon, Ro?”

Anyone? Anyone?
